[It's been almost two weeks since the mission, and Kotetsu's barely managed to hold himself together during that time; a royal mess, you'd say. But with the arrival of Kaede and the underlying truth that, eventually, it'd be brought up... He decides he'll put his two cents out there.]
... A while ago, me and a buncha' others went on a mission. It was s'pposed to be a pretty normal thing; I mean, routine stuff. But then, we were attacked... and things got a little fuzzy and crazier than it should've. [A pause, as he considers what to say. How to say it. Maybe he shoulda' picked out someone who was better at words or... hell, even wrote down what he was planning to say. As it is, he's sitting here with a few bullet points scribbled out, itching his head.]
From what everyone could tell, it was a band of dream shifters, like the kind people fought before. And that General Ass--... guy was in there, too. I met him in a dream, and he basically helped to get me out of it. Like he did for other people. It's pretty confusing, you know? That he'd help us out. But he told me... before everything got hard to keep track of, he told me that...
[He massages his temple, trying to remember the exact words.]
He said they wanted to offer us to the planet. Some--special hour, or something. That his people had a bigger plan for us. Said he'd kill me right where I was if it wasn't for everything else goin' on. Tch, he was basically just a confusing bastard. But what I could tell was that there were people like him--those third party fellas--that weren't on his side. Dream guys who wanted him to go down, because he was just as stuck as we were by the looks of it. Or else he'd just let us all die and be on his way, right?
And--! (shi-) [flipping over a paper, one sec] He said something about.... Shamans...? That things don't stay dead without 'em. He was looking for one while we were stuck there.
[There's a hushed silence. Sounding pretty uncool there Kaburagi. Try to at least sound like you know exactly what to include.]
I, uh, don't know what else I should add. It was all a pretty big blur, but I figured... the malnosso tried to get me to talk about it, but I figured it'd be better off here. The people who were there can also add some stuff here. Leave the line open for all the stuff they can--contribute? [is that a decent way of phrasing it] Or if anyone has any questions I'll try my best to answer 'em. I think this info is just as much yours as it is anyone there. The others probably got things more thought-out than me... so...
Alright.
[OKAY I'M GOOD
I'LL JUST
STOP HERE
because talking in length about this frustrating shit is too much]
((ooc: basically a free-for-all, especially for anyone who has anything to offer from the mission! I figured we could have this up even without everything threaded out, can add replies as we go? go for the stars, n' stuff. :|))

Fanatics are often unified behind an extremist belief to the point they're too willing to give their lives even if it doesn't make sense. For someone to have caused a schism inside them must have been something that could change a lot of things for them.
[Voice]
[He didn't seem worried, but it was something to be nervous about.]
But more importantly, was any information revealed on exactly the kind of forces these fanatics harbor?
[Voice]
Two fronts that don't get along. [She states.] That they are going through a civil war is a good thing. They will be spending time and resources on eachother as much as us. The problem will be about who will side with who.
[She pauses for a moment as she revises past reports of hers.]
From the times I've faced the Third Party, the usual enemies are the normal foot soldiers, the Elites, the shift hunters... and the 'Shifters'. [Beat.] The encountered varieties of them.
[Voice]
[He sighs, it just didn't sound good for any of the residents, being trapped inside of a barrier.] I would like to know though- if they are for us or against us. As far as I'm concerned all of them should meet their end, and believe me I'll make sure of it if need be; but I think it's wise to try to see if we can find out. [He wishes he knew how to do it.]
I understand that they probably have access to these troops. I'm wondering more if something was revealed to you all while you were inside, about something this new faction may possess that the Third Party does not. The smart thing to do is to develop something new to combat their former comrades.
[Voice]
[Kin'Corras. Her mind flashes with the conversation with Korras Blake.]
It's always necessary to be creative when it comes to the Third Party. Lately, the Shifters have gotten more varied. First there were those that nullified your powers. Back in Segretar, we found a type of Shifter that could copy our powers when they got a hundred meters close to us - something to kill with a marksman.
Then there's these shifters.
[Voice]
[But he'll listen; and information about the shifters they'd faced in the past was quite unnerving.] Yes...individuals that can attack the mind like that. How preposterous. [But very real.] And what is it about this shaman? The fool who made the broadcast hinted that it was capable of keeping the dead just that- dead. Care to elaborate on the matter?
[Voice]
There is no 'death' in Luceti for sentient beings, sir. Your body and mind can get destroyed and 'die', but you and your body return to life within a week with a handicap.
[Fixable by the very bastard watching this.]
What's troubling is that the cultists can do that: Permanently kill someone through a ritual if they capture someone. There were reports that Kin'Corras had some of their people taken for that.
[An end to the cycle of death and reincarnation of Luceti. A twisted form of stopping the wheel of karma in buddhism, Daisy comes to think.]
[Voice]
What's troubling is that reincarnations happen at all by the hands of scientists who dabble in sorcery. If I didn't know any better it sounds as if the Malnosso have figured out a way to tie a very being's soul to whatever it is they use to track them. So when you die they can scientifically reconstruct your body and reattach the soul. And these shaman must have the magic to counteract that.
[He's pretty sure he just kind of creeped himself out on that one. What else did they do to him when they attached these infernal wings? Now he's thinking of all these awful ideas and conclusions...]
What a joke. To live forever only to be ruled by another for their little experiments, tortured for all eternity- or to die for absolutely nothing for an idiotic radical's vision.
[Voice]
[She pauses.]
Everyone in this world. Us, the other enclosures, the Malnosso, the Third Party, and their Insureection, are all unable to die. For all we know, it's the reason the Cultists are into this fight. Because they couldn't stand living any longer.
[And in their eyes, ending all lives as an act of mercy.]
[Voice]
[Voice]
[Voice]
[Voice]
That they would be having more variety two years ago is curious. Maybe something else changed... Especially with what saw down here.
[The previous inhabitants of Luceti.]
[Voice]
[Voice]
And towards the Third Party.]
The Third Party may be as interested in us as the Malnosso are. The Art of War states that you don't destroy things that could be useful to you.
[And if it's true, then the General is a too patient man.]
[Voice]
[Voice]
[Voice]
[Such was the case with the GHQ, after all. Most of them could hardly be classified as "fanatics" or "extremists;" they were just soldiers who were following the orders of the higher-ups who told them that they were doing a good thing, doing the RIGHT thing.]
If they're presented with proof that their actions aren't as justified as they thought, convincing them to change sides doesn't always take that much effort.
[Voice]
It is true. Some factions of the Insurrection of my world would think similarly even as they used suicide bombers.
What's odd is that they would still rely on attrition tactics, instead of combined warfare tactics for the most part.
[Voice]
[Voice]
... Except that doesn't really mean any of them are on our sides... But it might be an important thing later. Especially when people start callin' for drafts again.
[Who knows. They might keep each other busy, give 'em a fighting chance.]
[Voice]
I also wonder what their thoughts of the Malnosso are. I can't imagine they'd be much different than our own, at least for those who don't enjoy being caged up like ridiculous zoo animals. Do you remember if he made any statements that might encompass the motivation behind these new rival zealots?
[Voice]
Kinda weird when you compare it to how he says he wants us all dead.
[HYPOCRITS, THE LOT OF 'EM.]
[Voice]
Though it's interesting that he would elaborate on why he hates them. Do you remember exactly what he said on the matter?
[Voice]
[Voice]
But tell me this- after all this information was acquired, why is it that no one managed to kill the imbecile? He was right there, in front of you all. By all means he should be dead.
[Voice]
are scary
stop that shit]
Aa........ yeah.....
He's actually a lot tougher than he looks.
He even uses his own blood to fight with.
[Voice]
How does someone fight with their own blood? As much as I'd like to appreciate your creativity on the matter, that's unimaginable! I think being in that dream world might of rattled your brain a little harder than you thought.
