Good afternoon Luceti, this is Ginia Solana. We're now three months into the fifth cycle and beginning the second month of the twelve-month calendar. I mention this because I believe it is time we, as a village, had a conversation.

I propose the idea of a town meeting. Many of you may know there was one in the past, I think it's time we had one again. It would be a good opportunity to share what might be on your mind, whether it's airing some frustration, an idea for a new festival or other fun event, promoting a business or group, or setting out a discussion for ways to improve the village.

I offer the tentative date of February 6th, next Monday, but I want to hear everyone's thoughts on this first. If there is enough support for this idea, we can discuss a proper meeting place and time. I suppose it might sweeten the deal for some if I mention there will be refreshments after the meeting. [She chuckles quietly.]

I want to stress the fact everyone is invited. We are all living here whether we want to or not, we all have the right to express our feelings. I expect some level of civility from everyone, but I see no reason to bar anyone from this discussion or the meeting.
